When Sifawu Lasisi was born in 1964, in Tafo, East Akim, Eastern, Ghana, her father, Laisi Anretiayan Akanni Adubiaran, was 52 and her mother, Ayishatu Ayoka Bello, was 44. She died in 1965, in her hometown, at the age of 1.
