When Sven Hansson was born on 21 September 1877, in Jämshög, Blekinge, Sweden, his father, Per Hansson, was 28 and his mother, Elna Håkansdotter, was 30. He married Karolina Nilsson- Kalm on 17 September 1905, in Malmöhus, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Lomma, Malmöhus, Sweden in 1902. He died on 29 June 1961, in Södra Vram, Luggude, Malmöhus, Sweden, at the age of 83.
