He married Mary Brown about 1714, in Essex, New Jersey, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 7 daughters. He registered for military service in 1700. He died on 16 May 1750, in his hometown, at the age of 57, and was buried in Newark Township, Essex, New Jersey, United States.
