When Hermann Muller-Albert was born on 26 April 1893, his father, Paul Mortiz Muller-Albert, was 33 and his mother, Henriette Rossner, was 27. He married Elisabeth Ilse Kresse on 12 September 1921, in Weida, Großenhain, Dresden, Saxony, Germany. He died on 13 February 1954, at the age of 60.
