When Abram Ruas Amantino was born on 2 August 1908, in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, his father, Francisco De Oliveira Xavier, was 28 and his mother, Bernardina Ruas Amantino, was 23. He died on 28 November 2002, in his hometown, at the age of 94.
