He married Eufracia Merino in June 1944, in Masinloc, Zambales, Philippines. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He died on 3 September 2003, in Iba, Zambales, Philippines, at the age of 88, and was buried in Bato, Camarines Sur, Philippines.
