When Robert Kapihe was born on 3 July 1930, his father, Robert KAPIHE, was 21 and his mother, Pauline Kahaleiwi, was 17. He married Beatrice Basilia Albano on 4 December 1948, in Honolulu, Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii Territory, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He lived in Representative District 5, Honolulu, Hawaii Territory, United States in 1940. He died on 10 November 2001, at the age of 71.
