Dudley Wolfe was born in 1858, in London, England, United Kingdom as the son of Eduard Albert Wolfe and Cecelia Oternberg. He married Mabel Florence Smith on 6 October 1890, in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Gross Point, Cook, Illinois, United States in 1900 and Mount Pleasant, Westchester, New York, United States in 1905. He died in 1908, at the age of 50, and was buried in Rockland, Knox, Maine, United States.
