When Rita Fontes Duarte was born in 1829, in Uruguay, her father, Leandro Fontes Umpiérrez, was 33 and her mother, Rafaela DUARTE PÉREZ, was 29. She married Pedro Morales Pérez on 11 August 1849, in Pando, Canelones, Uruguay. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 23 January 1907, in Tala, Canelones, Uruguay, at the age of 78.
