When Ole Andersen Kalvhaugen was born in 1710, in Fjellskogen, Hedmark, Norway, his father, Anders Simenssøn Fjeldskogen, was 29 and his mother, Marthe Johansdatter Fjeldskogen, was 24. He married Kari Olsdatter Snesbølmoen on 26 December 1762, in Eidskog, Hedmark, Norway. He died in 1771, at the age of 61.
