When Anna Christine Kersten was born on 26 July 1806, her father, Petrus Kersten, was 52 and her mother, Petronella van der Koelen, was 30. She married Petrus Laurentius Desmense on 25 August 1840, in 's-Hertogenbosch, North Brabant, Netherlands. She died on 9 April 1894, in Bergen, Limburg, Netherlands, at the age of 87.
