She married Rufus Wiley Allen about 1890, in Madison, Arkansas, United States. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 4 daughters. She lived in Homestead, Blaine, Oklahoma, United States in 1910 and Liberty Township, Blaine, Oklahoma, United States for about 10 years. She died on 5 December 1949, in Los Angeles, California, United States, at the age of 75, and was buried in Park Lawn Memorial Park, Commerce, Los Angeles, California, United States.

1875 · A Treaty with Hawaii

In the Mid 1870s, The United States sought out the Kingdom of Hawaii to make a free trade agreement. The Treaty gave the Hawaiians access to the United States agricultural markets and it gave the United States a part of land which later became Pearl Harbor.

The Mosaic Templar is an African American fraternal organization founded in Little Rock. it was founded by former slaves, John Edward Bush and Chester W. Keatts. It was part of a movement that was going on at the time, where everyone was forming fraternities and sororities.
