When Alfred Peirce was born in 1835, in Middlefield, Otsego, New York, United States, his father, Benjamin Pierce, was 31 and his mother, Polly Bowen, was 27. He married Harriet L Brown on 9 May 1865. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Smoky Hill Township, Geary, Kansas, United States in 1880. He died in 1926, at the age of 91.
