Francisco Sanz Ximénez was born about 1766, in Villaviudas, Palencia, Castilla y León, Spain as the son of Francisco Sanz Prieto and Isabel Ximénez Puertas. He married Juana Pajarro Bartolomé on 13 February 1790, in Minas, Uruguay. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 6 daughters. He died on 16 February 1843, in Minas, Uruguay, at the age of 78.
