When Charles Célestin THAON was born on 20 March 1857, in Lantosque, Alpes-Maritimes, France, his father, Giovanni Maria THAON, was 26 and his mother, Marguerite Camille Otho, was 29. He married Giuseppina Francesca Margherita Giaume on 19 September 1876, in Diocese of Nice, France. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. He died on 14 September 1906, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France, at the age of 49.

    1858 · The Vision of Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes

    Bernadette Soubirous was a young woman that born in poverty on January 7, 1844 in Lourdes, France. She started having visions of a lady that would tell her to do different things such as drink from water that was under a rock. She was also instructed to tell priests to build a church. As time went on she was interrogated by the police and never denied what she saw. People come from all over to Lourdes, France.
