When Jacob Stuessi was christened on 13 March 1672, in Regensdorf, Zürich, Switzerland, his father, Hans Stuessi, was 50 and his mother, Elsbeth Klingler, was 39. He married Barbara Spillmann on 8 January 1695, in Regensdorf, Zürich, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 1 April 1700, at the age of 28.
