When John Mason was born on 25 February 1706, in Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire, British Colonial America, his father, Robert Mason III, was 52 and his mother, Mariah Redman, was 36. He married Mary Sanborn on 28 October 1736, in Hampton Falls, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. He died on 12 September 1771, in his hometown, at the age of 65.
