Magdalena Bridler was born on 7 June 1832, in Müllheim, Thurgau, Switzerland as the daughter of Jakob Bridler and Elisabeth Stäger. She married Heinrich Dinckel on 11 April 1850. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 31 May 1901, in her hometown, at the age of 68.
