Jane Pollock was born in 1834, in Raphoe, County Donegal, Ireland as the daughter of Joseph Pollock and Nancy Donald. She married James Haley on 2 October 1856, in Raphoe, County Donegal, Ireland. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 18 January 1905, at the age of 71.
