Pierre D'Allain was born in 1653, in Cerisy-la-Forêt, Manche, France as the son of D'Allain and D'Allain. He married Michelle Le Bas about 1673, in France. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He died about November 1717, at the age of 64, and was buried in St. Lawrence, Jersey.

1682 · The Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles was originally known as a hunting log and retreat for Louis XII. When Louis XIV took over he moved his family into it. After he died the palace was abandoned. It has since been turned into a museum.
