When Fridolin Kubli was born about 1671, in Matt, Glarus, Switzerland, his father, Rudolf Kubli, was 23 and his mother, Maria Bäbler, was 18. He married Eisbeth Stauffacher on 13 November 1716, in Matt, Glarus, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He died on 28 September 1745, in his hometown, at the age of 75.
