When Noah Parr was born in 1821, in Ohio, United States, his father, Thomas Parr, was 24 and his mother, Jane Hoskinson, was 24. He married Martha Brown on 7 July 1842. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He lived in Green Camp, Marion, Ohio, United States in 1850. He died on 22 June 1891, in Monroe Township, Mahaska, Iowa, United States, at the age of 70, and was buried in Tinsley Cemetery, Red River, Texas, United States.

1821 · Financial Relief for Public Land

A United States law to provide financial relief for the purchasers of Public Lands. It permitted the earlier buyers, that couldn't pay completely for the land, to return the land back to the government. This granted them a credit towards the debt they had on land. Congress, also, extended credit to buyer for eight more years. Still while being in economic panic and the shortage of currency made by citizens, the government hoped that with the time extension, the economy would improve.
