She married Jess Hill Pickett on 31 August 1921, in Santa Ana, Orange, California, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. She lived in Long Beach, Los Angeles, California, United States in 1930 and Fort Collins, Larimer, Colorado, United States in 1950. She died on 10 June 1974, in Parowan, Iron, Utah, United States, at the age of 72, and was buried in Parowan Cemetery, Parowan, Iron, Utah, United States.

1903 · Department of Commerce and Labor

A short-lived Cabinet department which was concerned with controlling the excesses of big business. Later being split and the Secretary of Commerce and Labor splitting into two separate positions.

1906 · Great San Francisco Earthquake

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook San Francisco for approximately 60 seconds on April 18, 1906. A 1906 report by US Army Relief Operations recorded the death toll for San Francisco and surrounding areas at 664. Later reports record the number at over 3,000 deaths. An estimated 225,000 people were left homeless from the widespread destructuction as 80% of the city was destroyed.
