Siota Poutalimati Tuivaiti was born about 1890, in Falelatai, Samoa as the son of Filifilipo Tuivaiti and Liuoli Apelu Ili. He married Failelua Tauiliili about 1904, in Falelatai, Samoa. They were the parents of at least 11 sons and 1 daughter. He died in 1959, in his hometown, at the age of 70, and was buried in Samoa.
