When Christen Senius Jensen was born on 17 April 1838, in Bindslev, Åstrup, Denmark, his father, Jens Christian Jorgensen, was 32 and his mother, Anne Pedersdatter, was 29. He married Mariane Jeppesen on 19 November 1865. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Bindslev, Horns, Hjørring, Denmark for about 20 years and Mygdal, Vennebjerg, Hjørring, Denmark for about 10 years. He died on 10 July 1883, in Hørmested, Horns, Hjørring, Denmark, at the age of 45, and was buried in Hørmested, Horns, Hjørring, Denmark.

1847 · Casino Theatre (Copenhagen)
The Casino Theatre was built as an entertainment center by Georg Carstensen but was converted into a theatre in 1848. After many years of never gaining popularity, it was closed in 1937 and demolished in 1960.

The Copenhagen Waterworks was the first waterworks in Denmark and served the community until 1951. It was one of the first buildings to be built outside Copenhagen's old city walls.
