When Else Marcusdatter Bangsboe was christened in June 1741, in Byrum, Hals, Hjørring, Denmark, her father, Marcus Jensen, was 43 and her mother, Else Andersdatter, was 47. She married Niels Nielsen Skomager Irum on 2 November 1766, in Byrum, Hals, Hjørring, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 8 daughters. She died on 14 February 1810, in her hometown, at the age of 68.
