When Charles Henry Hellyar was born on 13 January 1890, in Palmer, Hampden, Massachusetts, United States, his father, Samuel Henry Hellyar, was 33 and his mother, Lizzie G Blanchard, was 32. He lived in New Britain, Hartford, Connecticut, United States in 1927 and Shelburne, Franklin, Massachusetts, United States in 1930. He registered for military service in 1919. He died on 11 April 1938, at the age of 48.

A landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court upholding the constitutionality of racial segregation laws for public facilities if the segregated facilities were equal in quality. It's widely regarded as one of the worst decisions in U.S. Supreme Court history.
The USS Holland was the first commissioned submarine. It was named after John Philip Holland. It had been laid down in November of 1896 and launched a year later. It was acquired and commissioned in 1900 and decommissioned five years later. The submarine was finally sold in 1913 and put on display until it was scrapped in 1932.
A short-lived Cabinet department which was concerned with controlling the excesses of big business. Later being split and the Secretary of Commerce and Labor splitting into two separate positions.
