When Aaltje Wigbolts Hazenhoek was born on 4 June 1810, in Siddeburen, Groningen, Netherlands, her father, Wigbold Thomas Hazenhoek, was 40 and her mother, Geertje Kaspers Bijmolt, was 32. She married Luppo Boeles Boelens on 4 July 1838. They were the parents of at least 1 son. She died on 13 December 1887, in Wagenborgen, Termunten, Groningen, Netherlands, at the age of 77.
