Pedro Ruano was born in 1789, in Jalapa, Guatemala as the son of Ruano. He married Juliana Estrada about 1814, in Jalapa, Jalapa, Guatemala. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 7 December 1849, in his hometown, at the age of 60, and was buried in Guatemala.
