When Maria Cruz Belza Maiza was christened on 21 October 1759, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain, her father, Joseph Belza de Martiz, was 29 and her mother, Maria Josepha Mayza de Miguel de Echarri, was 33. She married Juan Martin Arana Ijurco on 24 November 1779, in Santa María, Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 26 October 1805, in her hometown, at the age of 46.
