He died on 26 April 1905, in Alfalfa, Oklahoma, United States, at the age of 75, and was buried in Alfalfa, Oklahoma, United States.

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations.
