When Jonas Siggesson was born on 7 November 1762, in Varnhem, Skaraborg, Sweden, his father, Sigge Andersson, was 30 and his mother, Annika Carlsdotter, was 31. He married Anna Eliaedotter on 4 April 1790. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He died in 1805, in Ransberg, Skaraborg, Sweden, at the age of 43.
