When Amos Elijah Warren was born on 25 July 1782, in Leicester, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States, his father, Elijah Warren, was 23 and his mother, Elizabeth Wheeler, was 19. He married Sophia Holmes on 2 January 1806, in Windham, Windham, Connecticut, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. He died on 25 February 1865, in Woodstock, Windsor, Vermont, United States, at the age of 82, and was buried in River Street Cemetery, Woodstock, Windsor, Vermont, United States.
