When Jehu Burson was born on 18 January 1807, in Virginia, United States, his father, Jehu Burson, was 26 and his mother, Anna Kent, was 28. He died on 15 October 1831, at the age of 24, and was buried in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Senecaville, Richland Township, Guernsey, Ohio, United States.

Zanesville becomes the new state capital.

1812 · Monumental Church Built

The Monumental Church was built between 1812-1814 on the sight where the Richmond Theatre fire had taken place. It is a monument to those that died in the fire.
