When Charles Mason Tolman was born on 21 January 1807, in Richmond, Cheshire, New Hampshire, United States, his father, Henry Tolman, was 23 and his mother, Mary Harris, was 18. He married Lydia Lovejoy in June 1825. He died on 27 December 1830, at the age of 23, and was buried in Troy, Cheshire, New Hampshire, United States.
