He lived in Lexington Township, Le Sueur, Minnesota, United States in 1860 and Stillwater, Washington, Minnesota, United States in 1870. He died on 16 October 1887, in Lake, South Dakota, United States, at the age of 59, and was buried in Badus Township, Lake, Dakota Territory, United States.
