When Paula Fusilala was born in 1852, in Pangai, Ha'apai, Tonga, his father, Uiha Mo Haano, was 67 and his mother, Manu Mu'A, was 48. He married Mrs P. Fusila'a from January 1835 to December 1835, in Vava'u, Tonga. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He died in 1900, in his hometown, at the age of 48, and was buried in Pangai, Ha'apai, Tonga.
