He immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States in 1824 and lived in Henry, Alabama, United States in 1840. He registered for military service in 1863. He died in 1862, in Holmes, Florida, United States, at the age of 59, and was buried in Saint Petersburg, Pinellas, Florida, United States.
