He lived in Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee, United States for about 10 years and Civil District 2, Knox, Tennessee, United States in 1920. He died on 27 July 1920, in Fountain City, Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 61, and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Knox, Tennessee, United States.

1862 · Battle of Shiloh
The battle of Shiloh took place on April 6, 1862 and April 7, 1862. Confederate soldiers camp through the woods next to where the Union soldiers were camped at Pittsburg Landing on the Tennessee River. With 23,000 casualties this was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War up to this point.
