She married Oeds Ties de Vries on 29 March 1856, in Surhuisterveen, Achtkarspelen, Friesland, Netherlands. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 13 July 1906, in Surhuisterveen, Achtkarspelen, Friesland, Netherlands, at the age of 86.
