When Ezra Wetmore was born on 10 December 1774, in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut, United States, his father, Amos Wetmore, was 34 and his mother, Rachel Parsons, was 30. He married Susan Palmer in 1809, in Rhode Island, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 5 daughters. He died in 1843, at the age of 69.
