He lived in Walsingham Township, Norfolk, Ontario, Canada in 1871 and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1901. He died on 19 November 1934, in St. Catharines, Lincoln, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 82, and was buried in Oxford, Ontario, Canada.
