He lived in Charleston Neck, Charleston, South Carolina, United States in 1850. He died on 15 April 1880, in Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina, United States, at the age of 90, and was buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina, United States.
