He lived in Fayette, Fayette, Virginia, United States in 1850 and Chickahominy District, Charles City County, Virginia, United States in 1860. He died on 8 July 1868, in Mountain Cove District, Fayette, West Virginia, United States, at the age of 68, and was buried in Edmond, Fayette, West Virginia, United States.
