She married Vincent Tapp Jr on 22 June 1782, in Albemarle, Virginia, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 5 daughters. She died in April 1835, in Augusta, Virginia, United States, at the age of 71, and was buried in Trinity Episcopal Churchyard, Staunton, Augusta, Virginia, United States.
