When Rhoda Hoxsie was born on 29 December 1750, in South Kingstown, Kings, Rhode Island, British Colonial America, her father, John Hoxie Jr., was 46 and her mother, Mercy Ann Richmond, was 44. She married Jeremiah Tefft on 23 October 1768, in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 6 daughters. She died in 1844, at the age of 94.
