Truls Larsson was born on 22 February 1781, in Blentarp, Torna, Malmöhus, Sweden as the son of Lars Esbjörnsson and Ingar Larsdotter. He married Anna Larsdotter on 28 March 1806. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 24 May 1829, in Skurup, Malmöhus, Sweden, at the age of 48, and was buried in Skurup, Malmöhus, Sweden.
