He married Jerusha Vine about 1775, in Old Saybrook, Middlesex, Connecticut, United States. He died on 6 November 1834, in Perry, Perry, Wyoming, New York, United States, at the age of 80, and was buried in Perry Center, Wyoming, New York, United States.
