When Caspar Weyermann was born in 1751, his father, Peter Weyermann, was 40 and his mother, Rosina Schar, was 32. He married Anna Aebi on 25 September 1778, in Wynigen, Bern, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 28 May 1806, in Unterberg, Fraubrunnen, Bern, Switzerland, at the age of 55, and was buried in Grafenried, Bern, Switzerland.
