When Aubrey Edgar Diprose was born on 18 May 1886, in Ringarooma, Tasmania, Australia, his father, Adolphous Alfred Edgar Diprose, was 20 and his mother, Caroline Carrie Neal, was 22. He married Ella Victoria Musgrave on 12 April 1921, in Sandy Bay, Tasmania, Australia. He died on 12 February 1943, at the age of 56, and was buried in Fawkner Memorial Park, Hadfield, Victoria, Australia.
